Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
(Proverbs 3:5–6)
How often do we start our days caught up in responsibilities, worries, and tasks—without taking even a moment to turn to God?
The rush of life can easily distract us from what truly matters: God’s presence in our lives. Yet when we choose to include God in our day, we experience a peace that surpasses all understanding and the assurance that we are never alone.
Including God in your day doesn’t have to be complicated. You can begin with a simple prayer as soon as you wake up—thanking Him for the gift of life and asking for wisdom to face whatever lies ahead.
Reading a short Bible verse or meditating on a passage is also a powerful way to align your heart with God’s will.
Throughout the day, remember to talk to God. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, He’s always ready to listen. It could be a quiet moment of gratitude at work, a silent cry during a challenge, or a quick prayer for someone you pass on the street.
To acknowledge God in all your ways is to invite Him to lead your path. When we place our worries, plans, and decisions in His hands, we experience the comfort of knowing that He is in control.
Choose today to live with God by your side.
Include Him in your actions, your words, and your thoughts. You’ll begin to see even the simplest moments as opportunities to grow in faith and reflect His love to those around you.
Remember: a day with God is never a wasted day—it’s a day full of purpose and grace.
How to Include God in Your Day
-
Start the day with prayer: Dedicate the first few minutes to God—thank Him, ask for wisdom, and surrender your plans to Him.
-
Meditate on a Bible verse: Choose a passage and reflect on how it applies to your actions and decisions today.
-
Talk to God throughout the day: Turn your thoughts into short prayers, seeking His guidance in both simple and challenging moments.
To pray:
Lord, I place this day in Your hands. Guide my steps, give me wisdom, and strengthen my heart. Help me to reflect Your love in every action. I thank You for Your grace, and I ask that You help me trust You in all things. Amen.
