In the busyness of life, we sometimes feel lost and worried. As followers of God, we have a practical guide: the Bible. It is not just a religious book full of ancient stories; it is a daily source of wisdom. Through the Bible, God speaks to us.
The Bible tells us to let the Word of God change us—transforming us so we become more like Jesus. In Romans 12:2 we read:
“Do not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what the will of God is—what is good, pleasing, and perfect.”
(Romans 12:2)
This means reading the Bible, thinking about what it says, and allowing its teachings to shape the way we think and live.
Just as a potter shapes clay, God wants to shape our lives according to His perfect plan. But for this to happen, we must be willing to follow His Word with humility and trust. This involves taking the time to read Scripture, asking God to help us understand what we read, and living according to what we learn.
God’s Word is powerful and can help us in difficult moments. It reveals our weak points, shines light into our shadows, and guides us toward the grace of Jesus. As we allow this transformation, we experience a renewal that is reflected in our actions.
So today, make God’s Word the foundation of your life. Let it guide you and be the light on your path, even in challenging moments. Allow it to change you, equipping you to live a life that pleases God and reflects the love of Jesus. By following God’s Word, we find freedom and a meaningful life in Christ.
