And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever remains in love remains in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)

To remain in God is to remain in love. God is the very source of love, from whom we receive it and then share it through our actions. That is the wonder of the Gospel, we receive and share His love.

By acting in love towards our neighbor, we are sharing the God we believe in. The essence of God is love and every act filled with love points to Him. When we forgive, help, or pray for someone, God is manifested through those attitudes.

The more we love, the more we are loved, it is a perfect cycle. That is the basis of the relationship with God: to love and to be loved.

Living in the love of God

• Take the initiative, experience the love of God, and you will see how He will surprise you.
• Feed on the love of God. Read the Word.
• Love God and love your neighbor. Those are the most important commandments! (Matthew 22:36-40).
