God is the present God! He does not abandon you when the crisis tightens or when sadness comes. Unlike all those who may have abandoned you, God is a strong refuge in times of distress. The mighty hands of our Lord can calm any difficulty you are facing. He is powerful and stands by your side even when you don't feel it. He renews your hopes and transforms your darkness into light!
Jesus is the great Immanuel, "God with us." He could have lived above us or far from us, but he didn't. He lived among us and cared for the weak and helpless. He was a friend to sinners and a brother to the poor. He is present and sustains you in the midst of every storm. Trust in the Lord persistently!
God came to us
He is God to all of us! Jesus did not limit or restrict his company to a specific group: he is God and is present with everyone - with men, women, young and old, nationals and foreigners, sick and healthy, weak and brave. He is our God!
God is present in the mountains or in the valleys. He accompanies you in sufferings and joys. Remember this every day.
Pray for his presence to be evident in your life. Acknowledge God in your ways.
Hold fast to the Word of God every day. It will teach you and strengthen your faith.
You are not alone! You are safe in the hands of the Savior of the world. Rest in the Lord!

Lord, thank you for your constant presence. When everyone else leaves, you remain with us and watch over us closely. I believe that you, God Immanuel, will never abandon us, even when everything may seem very difficult and lost. Stay with us, our beloved and good Jesus, today and always, by your eternal love! Amen.
