God’s love for us is immeasurable, and He desires to have an intimate relationship with each of us. The Bible speaks of His unwavering commitment to us, no matter where we go or what we face. In 2 Peter 3:9, it says:
"The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
(2 Peter 3:9)
This verse shows that God's heart is not to see anyone lost. His patience is a testament to His desire for everyone to come to Him, to be saved, and to experience His love. No matter how far we wander, God is always pursuing us with open arms, calling us back into His loving embrace.
Sometimes, we may feel lost or distant from God, but He is always near, waiting for us to return to Him. Just like the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-7, where the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine sheep to find the one that is lost, God goes after us, seeking to restore us into His fold.
God doesn’t want to lose you, and He will go to great lengths to bring you back. His love is relentless, and His desire is for you to know Him, trust Him, and be with Him forever.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for never giving up on me. Help me to always draw near to You and trust in Your love. I know that You desire to have a relationship with me, and I am grateful for Your patience and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, amen.
