What’s the first step to pleasing God? Do you think it’s to stop sinning? Or maybe to do something really good? To follow all the rules perfectly? Actually—no. The first step is to believe. Without faith, none of those other things please God.
The truth is, you can’t do anything to please God or earn His favor in your own strength. Only faith in Jesus can save. You need to believe that Jesus will do the transforming work inside of you. God simply wants you to believe that He exists and that He has the power to save you and transform your life. When you believe that, God will lead your life in a way that pleases Him.

Spend time with other believers to hear and share all that God is doing in each of your lives.
A Prayer:
God, I believe that You exist and that You love me. I believe You sent Jesus to save me and give me eternal life. I want to live for You and please You. Please come and transform my life—guide me so that I can honor You in everything, in every situation. Help me grow in faith and trust You with every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
